The Family Shoveller Band (FSB) is a celebrated Indigenous musical collective hailing from the remote saltwater community of Bidyadanga, located 180 kilometres south of Broome in Western Australia. As proud Karajarri family members, they have progressed from local school busking and backyard jams to performing on major stages across Australia and overseas. Their signature style is a festive blend of reggae, culture rock, country, and pop-rock. They write and sing songs about their saltwater and freshwater homelands, frequently performing in their traditional Karajarri language. The band members were taught by their father, Frankie Shoveller, who was the driving force behind the original, historic Shovellor Band. You’ll be on for a great night with these guys on stage!
