ABOUT WHALEBONE BREWING Co.

Located in the remote town of Exmouth WA, the gateway to the Ningaloo Reef, Whalebone Brewing Company is literally beer in a shed.

Owned and operated by two local families with a love of craft beer who wanted to bring beer back to what it should be; a great, refreshing, true to style brew enjoyed with mates and family in an authentic setting under the stars.

Complemented with delicious pizza showcasing local ingredients, a kids play area and great tunes by local and travelling musicians, Whalebone Brewery is the place you can kick off your boots (or thongs!) after a day of exploring the Ningaloo reef and range.

With all beers brewed on-site and now spirits distilled on-site too, we like to say that Whalebone is ‘the taste of Ningaloo’.

Bittered with a combination of America & Australia’s finest hops, our Session Ale tips a hat to Exmouth’s American roots and Aussie resilience. With a gentle bite, this golden brew will soothe sunburnt lips and crack the salt crust off your cheeks after a long day on the water. Pale Malt, Vienna, Galaxy and Simcoe Hops also feature.

LIGHTHOUSE Lager - 4.6% - 12 IBU

Crafted with summer in mind, this pale brew is deliciously smooth. Featuring pale malt, flaked corn and Tettnanger Hops, it’s perfect for drinking ice cold every day. Here’s ‘cheers’ to beach days and balmy nights!

spongebob sour - 4.4% - 12 ibu

PINEAPPLE

A sour beer with an intriguing sweetness… Wheat & barley backbone with negligible hop bitterness. fresh pineapple makes it an extremely refreshing beer!

 

‘tis the saison - 5.1% - 25 IBU

A Belgian farmhouse ale, light in colour with fruity esters and peppery phenolic notes.

HAzy bone neipa - 6.6% - 25 ibu

Generously hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe and Ekuanot hops, this IPA is flavour and aroma focussed with a smoother finish than traditional IPAs. Opaque in appearance, it bursts with fruity aromas of grapefruit, lemon, pawpaw and mango. Pilsner & Vienna malts and flaked oats combine with Galaxy, Mosaic, Simcoe, Eukanot and Mosaic Hops.

blarney stone red - 4.8% - 28 ibu

Irish Red Ale with soft toffee and moderate biscuit flavours delicately hopped with Crystal.

 

oil beef hooked stout - 4.3% - 33 ibu

A St Patrick’s Day staple, this traditional dry stout has typical roasty flavours and a minimal bitterness with a dry finish

spyhop GINGER BEER - 2.5%

'Spyhopping' is the term to describe a whale vertically sticking its head up out of the water. You can spot this in Exmouth in the winter. Chances are you’ll be spotted sticking your hand up for another Spyhop Ginger after this one too!
